Time: 9:00 am – 4:00 pm (Lunch Break: 12:00 pm – 1:00 pm) ET Dates: Monday, June 28 – Friday, July 9, 2021* Price: $1,240 High School students interested in exploring the field of architecture and developing their portfolios will get a thorough introduction to the design process in this two-week intensive studio. Focused on several studio design projects, students will explore design on a series of scales, starting with a small object working toward the design of a small building. Students will learn how to work through an architectural program: from site analysis and developing a design concept to creating scale drawings and 3-D models of their design for a final presentation. Break-out groups will allow students to research and brainstorm collaboratively. *This is a two-week, 9-day program. There will be no class on Monday, July 5th. Students will be mailed a custom box of program materials for this class. Please ensure the street address you provide during registration is the complete mailing address where you can receive this package. We ask all students to provide their own pencil/pen, blank paper, crayons/markers/colored pencils, scissors, and a ruler or straightedge.
